Strategi Pengajaran Bipa untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar
Abstract
This study seeks to identify two significant aspects of BIPA (Indonesian for Foreign Speakers) teaching, namely: (i) the factors influencing motivation as an effort to sustain and achieve learning success in BIPA and (ii) teaching and learning strategies that can be applied to enhance both internal and external motivation. A systematic literature review was conducted following several steps. Data collection involved (1) defining keywords, (2) identifying and evaluating academic literature, and (3) determining key findings and grouping them according to the focus of this paper. The analysis was carried out through descriptive and thematic reviews based on the identified keywords. The literature review findings highlight two main points. First, there are several factors influencing motivation that teachers and learners can leverage to improve learning achievements, both internal and external. Second, the learning strategies that can be implemented to enhance motivation include creative approaches by BIPA teachers, such as: (i) contextual learning using cultural and gastronomic approaches as integral parts of maintaining learners' motivation, (ii) interactive teaching methods utilizing various media, such as comics and online interactive platforms like Zoompolls, Worldwall Games, Mentimeter, and Padlet, and (iii) innovative learning based on Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dua aspek penting dalam pengajaran BIPA, yaitu (i) faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi motivasi sebagai upaya untuk bertahan dan mencapai prestasi belajar BIPA dan (ii) strategi belajar mengajar yang dapat diterapkan untuk meningkatkan dua jenis motivasi, baik internal dan eksternal. Kajian literatur sistematis (systematic literature review) diterapkan dengan beberapa langkah. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan beberapa langkah, yaitu (1) menetapkan kata kunci, (2) pustaka berupa hasil penelitian ilmiah, dan (3) menetapkan sejumlah temuan penting dan membuat klasifikasi sesuai dengan fokus makalah ini. Analisis dilakukan dengan melakukan telaah deskriptif beserta tematik sesuai kata kunci yang telah diidentifikasi. Hasil kajian pustaka menunjukkan dua hal utama. Pertama, ada sejumlah faktor yang memengaruhi motivasi yang dapat digunakan pengajar dan pemelajar untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar, baik internal dan eksternal. Kedua, strategi belajar yang dapat diterapkan untuk meningkatkan motivasi adalah kreativitas guru BIPA yaitu (i) pembelajaran kontekstual yang menggunakan pendekatan kultural serta gastronomi sebagai bagian integratif menjaga motivasi pemelajar, (ii) metode pembelajaran interaktif dengan memanfaatkan sejumlah media, yaitu komik dan media interaktif online seperti Zoompols, Worldwall Games, Mentimeter, Padlet, dan (iii) pembelajaran inovatif berbasis Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK).
