Focus and Scope
Focus: Jurnal Guru Indonesia (JGI) is an international peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing global knowledge on teacher professionalism, pedagogical innovation, and educational policy. We emphasize empirical and conceptual insights from the Indonesian context as a significant case study for understanding broader educational challenges in diverse and developing societies.
Scope: We welcome high-quality research on teacher education, classroom pedagogy, educational technology, inclusive education, teacher well-being, curriculum studies, and educational leadership. Comparative studies and papers addressing global agendas (such as SDG 4) are particularly encouraged. Our goal is to foster dialogue between local practices and international scholarly discourse. JGI is published every June and December.
