Journal of Pragmatics and Discourse Research (2828-4755) "JPDR"is an international peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing the latest research findings in the fields of discourse studies, pragmatics, and linguistics, with a specific focus on the intersection of culture, religion, and social dynamics in Asia. The journal caters to a diverse audience, including researchers, linguists, educators, and practitioners interested in linguistic analysis, discourse theory, and the role of language in society. JPDR encourages the exchange of ideas and fosters constructive discussions on both theoretical and applied research in the areas of discourse, pragmatics, and social dynamics. The journal invites submissions in various formats, such as original articles, review articles, book reviews, editorials, commentaries, letters, perspectives, and reports. Papers that engage with experimental or corpus-based research are especially welcomed.

JPDR offers a unique platform for the study of discourse and pragmatics, addressing both local and global issues, and emphasizes the role of religious discourses and traditions in shaping the societal structures in Asia.

Journal of Pragmatics and Discourse Research has been accredited SINTA 3 (2023) by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, the Republic of Indonesia, started from Volume 1 Number 1 (2021). Then in the accreditation submission in 2024, Journal of Pragmatics and Discourse Research remains in SINTA 3 starting from Volume 4 Number 2 Year 2024 until Volume 9 Number 1 Year 2029. In addition, the Journal of Pragmatics and Discourse Research has also been indexed in dimensionsICI Copernicus and several other International indexers. Indexation can be seen on the foot page of this journal.
Currently, articles published by the Journal of Pragmatics and Discourse Research (JPDR) have been cited in Scopus publications as many as 81 citations. JPDR invites submissions for Volume 5, No. 2 (July-August 2025). We welcome original research, theoretical discussions, and case studies on topics related to Multiculturalism, Education, Gender, Globalization, Family, and Justice.

Submission Guidelines:
- Submit manuscripts via the online submission platform.
- Articles must be in English and follow the journal’s guidelines.
