Journal of Pragmatics and Discourse Research (2828-4755) is a peer reviewed an interdisciplinary journal of language studies published January, and July by PPJB-SIP (Perkumpulan Pengelola Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia serta Pengajarannya) and supported by Linguist List: the International Linguistics Community Online. Focusing on socio cultural contexts in Pragmatics, Discourse Analysis and Critical Discourse Analysis, this journal aims to provide a venue for language researchers to share theories and views in this area.
The journal covers emerging issues in Pragmatics and Discourse Analysis. Preference is given to well-researched papers that expand the frontiers of theoretical or empirical knowledge in these disciplines. It is interested in harnessing top-notched research in these fields worldwide and then making them available on open access to readers. The editorial board seeks to conduct high-quality research in Pragmatics and Discourse Analysis through a thoroughly blind peer-review process. Journal of Pragmatics and Discourse Research has been accredited SINTA 3 (2023) by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, the Republic of Indonesia started from Volume 1 Number 1 (2021). The last accreditation is valid until 2025.
The first author or co-authors of this journal hail from 8 different nations over the course of its two-year publication (Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Thailand, South Africa, Taiwan, Japan and the United States).

Journal Address Change Notification Journal of Pragmatics and Discourse Research (JPDR), was initiated and established for the first time on January 11, 2021. In the middle 2021 PPJB-SIP changed the affiliate URL from affiliate (.id) to (.org). Journal of Pragmatics and Discourse Research (JPDR) used to be addressed https://jurnal.ppjbsip.id/index.php/jpdr/index and used OJS Version 3, then changed to https://jurnal.ppjb-sip.org/index.php/jpdr/index used OJS version 2.3. This impacts the Database issued by Vol 1 No. 1 of 2021 cannot be retrieved in the old OJS, so the Data Vol 1 No. 1 of 2021 is carried out with the Quick Submit method in the latest OJS. OAI Address Journal of Pragmatics and Discourse Research has OAI address: Before submission You have to make sure that your paper is prepared using the JPDR paper Template, has been carefully proofread and polished and conformed to the author guidelines.
